Estación ferroviaria Ocoa, mayo 2019.

Esta es la primera de varias colaboraciones con TRENZANDO para generar intervenciones comunitarias en estaciones ferroviarias en desusos a lo largo de Chile. Ocoa es una pequeña localidad con graves problemas por la explotación de sus suelo y el desamparo en que los proyectos estatales y privados los ha situado.

Durante el 25 y 26 de mayo de 2019 nuestras máquinas de escribir se pusieron a disposición de l@s vecin@s para recibir escrituras en torno al espacio ferroviario, lo que significó que alguna vez el tren pasara por este pueblo y así encontrarnos en el acto de escribir.

En conjunto creamos el Fanzin OCOA.

Ocoa Train Station, May 2019.

This was the first of a series of collaborations with TRENZANDO aimed at creating community interventions in disused train stations the length of Chile. Ocoa is a small rural locality with serious problems due to the exploitation of its land and neglect from state and private projects.

On the 25th and 26th of May, 2019, neighbors used our typewriters to write about the railway environment and what it had meant to have a train service in the town in the past. And it was an opportunity to meet up, through the act of writing. 

Together we created the Fanzine OCOA.
